On September 22, BC Labour Heritage Centre dedicated “Magic and Lethal”, North America’s only monument to people affected by asbestos exposure. The monument, which includes the “Wind Wheel Mobile” art installation by local artist Doug Taylor and the text of the poem “Magic and Lethal” by playwright John Gray, is located on Vancouver’s harbourfront on the north-west corner of the Vancouver Convention Centre.
