The BCICA Mesothelioma Golf Tournament May 31 at Northview Golf Club was an overwhelming success. The gorgeous weather and amazing food on course were the perfect backdrop for a wonderful tournament made possible by the enthusiastic golfers and generous sponsors without whom this day would not be possible. Because of this combined effort in support of mesothelioma research and screening, the BCICA was proud to present Dr. Stephen Lam from the BC Cancer Agency with a cheque for $50,000.
The BCICA wishes to thank everyone who attended and volunteered for their time, efforts, and enthusiasm. The tournament was great fun for everyone who enjoyed the 50/50, annually famous wine draw, hole-in-one for a Harley, air cannon, beat-the-pro, putting contest, fabulous dinner and prizes, and other special events.
