The BCICA’s Derby Day membership event is the largest race day at Hastings Park. Last year’s annual event saw 80 contractors and their guests attend for an exciting day at the track. Guest came from all across BC and Alberta to participate in what is quickly becoming one of the association’s most anticipated events.
The event has been renamed to commemorate Rob Nofield, an avid insulation advocate, reliable colleague, and kind and generous friend who died in June 2024. Rob and his family had roots in horse racing, and Rob’s was always the biggest smile on Derby Day.
New for 2025, the event will be family-friendly! The BCICA has reserved two patios and one VIP booth for the event, and one patio will be exclusively reserved for families. There will also be extra activities planned exclusively for children.
Tickets will be launching at the end of July, and we expect it to sell out quickly, so mark your calendars!
