Armacell is proud to announce that its Brampton plant in Canada has been awarded a Silver Medal in the 2025 EcoVadis sustainability assessment, placing it among the Top 15% of more than 150,000 companies assessed globally.

Armacell Canada and its multi-tech facility in Brampton are supporting the Armacell Group’s Advanced Insulation, Component Foams and PET production in North America. Over the past decade, Armacell has processed well over four billion PET bottles in its ArmaPET® production facilities, thus cutting CO2 emissions by up to 37% compared to using virgin resin.

EcoVadis evaluates companies on four key issues: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. It provides actionable ratings businesses of all sizes can rely on to comply with ESG regulations, reduce GHG emissions, and improve the sustainability performance of their business and value chain. EcoVadis is active across 220 industries in 180 countries.

This Silver Medal puts Brampton in the 90th global percentile and highlights its outstanding commitment to sustainability and comprehensive management systems for policy formulation, implementation, and results reporting.

Gina Conte, General Manager Armacell Canada, highlighted the significance of Brampton’s outstanding first-time EcoVadis assessment. “This accomplishment reflects our strong focus on sustainability, inspires us to enhance our commitment to responsible business practices, and serves as a powerful motivator to continue advancing our efforts,” she says.
