Committee Name: TIAC Technical Committee
Committee statement of purpose: The Technical Committee serves as a technical resource and point of contact for the Canadian thermal insulation industry. The committee is currently focused on modernizing and updating the TIAC Best Practice Guide. This includes identifying industry pain points, reviewing outdated specifications and standards, and improving overall clarity for TIAC members.
Volunteer requirements: The Technical Committee is seeking three contractors and one manufacturer or distributor to serve a one-year term.
Time and activity requirements: Committee members are asked to attend one remote meeting per month for approximately one hour. Additional assistance between meetings may be asked depending on the committee initiatives being completed.
