As our country celebrates National Volunteer Week April 18-24, 2021, I am taking this opportunity to thank our volunteers for their commitment and outstanding contribution to the Thermal Insulation Association of Canada (TIAC).
Volunteer Canada’s 2021 theme “The Value of One. The Power of Many” and #VolunteersBringChange certainly ring true this year. The power of TIAC’s volunteers working together throughout the pandemic has resulted in a revitalized approach to professional development and outreach programs. Our volunteer Board of Directors guided us through the unprecedented task of having to cancel conferences and deliver training virtually. To fully serve our community, our dedicated volunteers on our many Board and Organizing Committees quickly stepped up to plan and deliver exceptional virtual programming in 2020-21. The planning continues and more exciting opportunities will be announced soon!
Since its inception, TIAC has relied on our team of incredible volunteers to deliver on our mandate. On behalf of the TIAC Board Executive Committee, we celebrate and recognize you all!!!
